I Cortili del Tango© è un progetto dell'associazione Tango Indipendente, associazione sportiva dilettantistica ma anche tango, arte e cultura del vivere.

"Ci piace pensare che l’Associazione possa di­ventare un luogo di incontro, un contenitore di progetti destinato a tutti coloro che hanno voglia di fare, sognare e mettersi a disposizione del mondo esterno. Per contribuire a migliorare la qualità del vivere, potendo contare su momenti di condivisione autentica con tutti coloro che credono nelle relazioni e nella forza delle persone."

Creare una rete sociale aperta alle idee e proposte altrui
L’Associazion Tango Indipen­dente ancora le sue radici ideologiche ad un mo­mento storico in cui, nella zona del Rio della Plata, più culture si sono incontrate e, attraverso un processo di cui il tango argentino è esempio e perfetta metafora, hanno dato dato origine a nuovi modelli di vita in cui le singole differenze, tradizioni etc, hanno rappresentato non un limite ma elementi fondanti di un nuovo modello culturale e sociale. 
In tutto questo l’enorme numero di immigrati italiani ha permeato la cultura argentina di elementi di italianità, evidenti nell’evoluzione musicale, melodica e testuale del tango.
Per questo il Tango Argentino, che per certi versi potremmo definire anche Tango Italiano, non è solo un ballo ma la sintesi di un’esigenza umana, la necessità di affidarsi e fidarsi, seppur simbolicamente, ad un altro essere umano, di coniugare le proprie radici con nuove abitudini e tradizioni, in un percorso di progettualità e speranza.
L’Associazione ha deciso in questo particolare periodo storico di crisi principalmente etica, che ha portato ad un senso di solitudine e abbandono socio-culturale, di prendere esempio da ciò che la storia ci ha insegnato: trasformare in energia positiva e propositiva la relazione umana. Abbiamo bisogno di voi, per sostenervi e soste­nerci. 
L’Associazione vive e cresce grazie alla disponibilità e al contributo di chi in questo mo­mento sta investendo energie e professionalità. L’obiettivo è di diventare un mezzo, uno strumento per creare contatti, legami, relazioni tra le persone. Recuperando quei valori umani che sono stati in parte sostituiti dalla velocità degli eventi, da forme di comunicazioni sempre più asettiche ed impersonali, vogliamo recuperare e “collezionare” situazioni e visi da ricordare.
Per farlo chiediamo un notevole sforzo. Uno sforzo che si traduce in fiducia. Ecco quindi che chi vorrà far parte di que­sto progetto sarà invitato a contribuire con idee, proposte e partecipazione attiva.

Our goal is to help improve the quality of life by fostering moments of authentic connection with those who believe in relationships and the power of people."

Creating a social network open to new ideas and proposals 
Tango Indipendente anchors its ideological roots in a historical era where multiple cultures converged in the Rio de la Plata region. Through a process for which Argentine Tango is both an example and a perfect metaphor, these cultures gave rise to new ways of living. Here, individual differences and traditions were not limitations, but the very foundations of a new cultural and social model.
Within this context, the vast number of Italian immigrants permeated Argentine culture with Italian elements, which are clearly visible in the musical, melodic, and lyrical evolution of tango. For this reason, Argentine Tango—which in some respects could even be called 'Italian Tango'—is not merely a dance. It is the synthesis of a fundamental human need: the necessity to trust and rely upon another human being, if only symbolically, and to blend one's roots with new habits and traditions in a journey of hope and purpose.
In this particular historical period of ethical crisis, which has led to a sense of loneliness and socio-cultural abandonment, our Association has decided to follow the lessons of history: to transform human relationships into positive and proactive energy. We need you, to support you and to support ourselves.
The Association lives and grows thanks to the dedication and contribution of those who are currently investing their energy and professionalism. Our objective is to become a vehicle—a tool for creating contacts, bonds, and relationships between people. By reclaiming those human values that have been partially replaced by the frantic pace of modern life and increasingly sterile, impersonal forms of communication, we want to recover and "collect" faces and moments worth remembering.
To achieve this, we ask for a significant effort. An effort that translates into trust. Therefore, anyone wishing to join this project is invited to contribute with ideas, proposals, and active participation.
